Anyone Wish To Swap Side Pipes?
I just picked up a used 2012 Backdraft with ceramic coated side pipes. I'm not feeling the look of ceramic. I 'm wondering if someone cares to swap for stainless pipes. Mine are for the coyote motor with O2 bungs installed. I would be looking for the same.

one thing to consider with stainless pipes is that they will develop a yellowish finish after a few heat cycles. I also like the look of polished stainless pipes vs ceramic, but I chose ceramic primarily because I don't like the look of yellow pipes.

that is a blue-ise and yellow. Stainless pipes get real HOT and stay that way for a long time after you turn the motor off.
Ceramic pipes are not as hot and cool very fast after you shut down. You can polish the ceramic pipes with aluminum polish to give them a little shine, not like chrome but a lot better. Dwight |
