Seat bottom

Anyone have an idea of how to anchor the seat bottom cushion to prevent it
from getting out of position. Tried velcro but it us too thin to work.
Much thanks

contact cement if you want it permanent. Otherwise put some rubber drawer liner under the foam.

I don't understand what you are trying to do. Are you wanting to keep the bottom seat cushion stuck to the fiberglass seat frame?

Mine fits snug in the well and never moves. But my chassis in the 300 series so something might have changed.

Whenever you try to get out of the car,the cushion will slide up quite a distance. I'm not a big or overweight guy,so I assume this happens to others.

I'm 5'10" @174lbs and have never once had the seat bottom move...

use sikaflex to keep it in place xD

I have the stock seat in my car. The cushion fits into a depressed area of the fiberglass seat frame which prevents it from moving. Do you have a custom/non-stock seat?

Never had this issue with mine either, maybe the seat is undersized from factory.

I found some thick velcro and used two five inch strips of it under the seat bottom and it works fine. I do not remember where I found it. Also where you place it is critical.

Industrial hook and loop. Clean the seat base with alcohol. Apply 3 long strips of the hook side of the hook and loop. Sit. Done.

I am SO glad someone asked this. I thought it was a silly question and I had overrun my quota of those. Thanks for the tip!
