Any Texas owners stopped for no front plate?
Since Texas law requires a front plate, have any of you Texas owners been stopped for no front plate on your roadster? Just curious if cops might be more lenient with these types of cars as Im picking up my new car next week and not keen on mounting a front plate. Thanks

I've only heard of one person getting pulled over for no front plate. It'd be more likely to just be added on if you're pulled over for something else. Most of the law enforcement I've encountered like the cars so just don't piss them off.

I have had 6 Cobras over the last 20 Years and never been stop for no front license plate. Even had Dallas, Plano and Frisco police admire my Cobras and never mention no front plate.... Carry it with you in the trunk and if you get asked tell them you are waiting for a front bracket.

Good news here and very interesting to know this. The ones that are a pain are the state troopers aka bumper chasers. |
No hate here. I'll put one on after about my 5th ticket. I still haven't got my first, and I have been known to drive a little on the ignunt side from time to time.
