Tire pressures?

What cold tire pressures are you owners running? Same on all four or? With the light weight I would think max 28psi cold but wanted to see what you have found to be the best grip and handling psi. Thanks

My settings are 18 street...26-28 track/autox. 275/35/18 and 315/30/18 Nitto NT01s. Setting above 20(for street) on these tires has less than full tread contact.

Street tires start at around 1 psi per 100 pounds of vehicle weight. That varies a bit, depending on tire and wheel combo. But 22-24 psi on each corner will put you in the right ball park.

Very good info. The car has oem wheels and tires, and weighs around 2400 lbs. Thanks!!

Thanks guys. These all seem what I kind of figured and great info. Sounds like the sweet spot is 26-28 PSI

I got virtually perfect wear out of two sets of Avons running about 22 at all four corners. At the end of the tire life, there was not spot on any tire that was more than 1/2 mm different. But I suppose driving style plays a significant role. Run some gravel roads and then look to see where the dust is.

Start out on the high end of the range and try lowering them a pound at a time until you stop loosening fillings after hitting a lane marker.
