Real Leather?

Are these seats real leather? I'm talking about the new BDR Cobras. Salesman couldn't answer this question. thanks in advance.

What salesman are you talking to? Seating surface is leather, the back of the seat (behind the seat) is vinyl for durability.

I spoke to Andrew @ Jonathon Motorcars, Edgewater Park, NJ.
Kind of weird as why they wouldn't go all leather? What about the dash?

So you are saying the surface that touches my back while seated is leather?

Yes. That is what I am saying.

To answer your questions with a little more detail... the interiors of the Backdrafts have undergone some enhancements on the latest cars. The leather being used is a higher grade and more of an "automotive leather" while the carpets are also switching to a more durable material. The edge binding on the transmission tunnel has also gotten tougher.

All part of the product evolution.

If you need to speak to someone with answers then give us a call or email. Happy to help on all fronts, including the requirements for registration in PA and what equipment must be on the car.

Stick with someone who has a long standing with these cars. That man is Jay. You'll pay over $50K for a new car from any dealer but you will get $50K worth of customer service and tech support from Jay. That never expires either.

I trust your opinion, but I'm not sure who you are referring to?

lovehamr 07-09-2015 11:55 AM

Jay is "Cashburn."

tims210 07-09-2015 02:03 PM

Cashburn = Jay at Vintage Motorsports.

We should all just write a check to Jay. Regardless of how or whom we acquired our cars. ;)

I agree, I can't even count the times that he has helped me out with information..... If it were possible to give him a standing ovation I would....

This is good to hear, I will be purchasing within the next 10-12 months. I am researching as much now so that I can soon place an order. Or maybe buy used. Still haven't decided on motor yet. I guess I was going to Jonathon Motorcars for info because he is only 4 hrs away rom me. But it looks as though Vintage Motorsports is pretty close as well. The more I post here the more I am learning.
