Alternator Replacement

I had the alternator in my backdraft go out today. It is a one wire output and there are 2 flat wire connections together, but I only use one of those. The engine is the crate Boss 302 that came in the car.

Went to a couple of auto parts places and it turns out that my chrome alternator seems to be for a Chevrolet. The closest alternator that comes close is part #7127, which is a 63 amp alternator. Mine looks like for higher amp. It doesn't exactly match the one I need to replace. The output position is at 10 instead of 9 o'clock and the lower bracket thickness is about an inch shorter in length.

Does anyone know what could replace it exactly?
Any recommendation for an alternative?

If not, I will probably just have it rebuilt locally.

Thanks ahead of time.

Have it rebuilt. The diodes, brushes, etc. are not only cheap, but they're pretty easy to replace. A rebuild will cost you about fifty bucks, or less, and your alternator is guaranteed to fit right back in.;) If my alternator went out tomorrow I wouldn't even think of replacing it with a new one.
