Oil Cooler - line leak

Hi All-

I have an oil cooler on my BDR and today noticed a couple small oil drops on my garage floor. I was able to trace it back to one of the lines. Are these screw on on compression attachments?

I looked around to see what manufacture makes it but not sure.

Is it leaking from the hose end or the fittings? And at which point? Do you have an oil thermostat on that?

Hi Jay, you'll have to grant me the usual runway on this. Not sure what all the parts are called.

It appears to be leaking at the fitting where it goes into a black cylinder thing (has 4 oil line attachments, not where the oil filter is). See the picture. It is leaking at the bottom one (closest to the ground).

It appears I can take a wrench and tighten it but wanted to be sure as to not make it worse.

Use 2 wrenches. It may just need a snug.

Perfect, that is what I suspected. I just didn't want to turn something that may not be threaded.

Thanks 1,000,000!
