Turbocharged AC Cobra questions

anyone in the BDR car world, or AC Cobra turbo charges their car? single turbo or twin? Auto trans or manual trans? would you do it again? got pictures or links to post?

Mine is not a Backdraft, but an FFR. I know of about 10 FFR's that are running single or twin-turbos. I originally had a manual trans (broke it), and later switched to auto, no falling off boost between shifts. Would I do it again, ABSOLUTELY. It is freakin nirvana everytime I get on it, the low end torque is incredible, and it has completely docile street manners otherwise. I can turn the power up or down while driving, get 20 mpg on the highway if I can stay out of it, and around 14 mpg in town. I've been driving it 10 years now with about 36k on the odometer. Cheers.

331" dart block. Thomas can fill in from there. My only claim to fame is holding the video camera lol.

I have never seen a turbo cobra but I know they are out there. Personally I think it would be awesome but for a few reasons I don't know if it would be for me.
1. I think I would want a 408-427 Windsor with a single turbo.
2. I would have to have the kit fabricated by a professional so that it would look and operate they way I would expect.
3. The biggest downside to me would be trying to get it to hookup and I don't like how a turbo muffles the exhaust.
4. Gas mileage aside I think I would rather have a nasty big CI 385 series.
5. Everything else aside I bet it would be dangerous as all get out. I would think you would need the absolute best set of tires you could get under you and a lot of practice and common sense with the throttle application. I've had a 600HP turbo streetbike and while it was a lot of fun when I look back I enjoyed the 220hp all motor setup better.
