Fuse Box

Another newbie question, but where is the Fusebox on our beloved Cobra?

I am still exploring, I assume that battery is under the trunk mat somewhere.

Fuse box: passenger footbox
Battery: behind driver Taillights and the cover should pull up and off

Thanks for the quick response CSW, much appreciated.

There is also an inline fuse under the dash. Can't remember what it is for.

Interestingly in looking under the passenger dash, I found a metal toggle switch just somewhat hanging there with the label "Fuel SW". I assume it is for an electric fuel pump?

Does anyone use that like a hidden cut off switch?

There's also a large one under the pass. fender for main power. Guess how I know that? %/

BTW Bill, both of mine had the F/P switch mounted in the dash right with the fan switch.

You mean that big inline 80a fuse that when it blows makes you think your alternator has gone bad?

Kevin....

Mine is on the passenger side, below the dash. A panel swings down to reveal:

Good eye, Jay, as usual! It is #91!

I lost power to the fuel pump today. Checked the fuse box. The fuse marked Fuel pump was okay, but the one marked SP/Batt was blown. Replaced it and she fired up fine. What does the SP/Batt stand for and may I replace that 15A with a 20A?

First to admit I am no expert, but I have over thirty years locked in a mortal battle with Lucas between the cars and the bikes. So for what it is worth, don't up the fuse. Find the problem...fuses are there to keep your wiring harness from burning up. And, frankly, sometimes the harness melts before the fuse blows. I hate wiring problems because I can't see them.

Yes, that's for sure. Do not fit a fuse larger than originally designed.
I've seen many electrical fires from larger fuses.
