Steering wheel hub
1 Attachment(s)
Hi everyone.
Quick question for those of you have been there. Is the hub pressed on and do I need to use my puller to take it off. Took off the nut and its on there pretty tight. Making sure before I start yanking on it. Thanks as always for the help Fred |
Hi Fred,
Mine's not a Backdraft so could be different to yours....but I've not ever seen a hub/boss that is pressed onto the spline. It could be a bit reluctant to come off easily if it's been on there undisturbed for some time, bit it should come off without the need to use a puller. Cheers, Glen |
Thank you.
Fred |
A puller is sometimes needed to get it off even though it is not a press fit.
