Wow

Nice pictures. The differential and suspension upgrades are things BD owners were looking for years ago.

Ok-- I will say it. No offense, but with all the years of assistance Jay has provided on this forum any likelihood of a new BDR purchase would go to him (at least from me). Thanks Jay for all you do for our community. You are appreciated! All the best Jeff in building your business!

No offense taken. Sounds like Jay has been a very valuable asset and can continue to be such. There is room for everyone on the forum and in North America.

Just offering opportunities, insights and additional support.

Happy New Year!

Jeff

Maybe you should get rid of your SPF and replace it with a BDR then....

Far better handling? far better ride? I have a 2013 and I am very happy with it. It has a 427 with about 600hp to the crank and the bmw e36 Rear end. Has about 6500 miles on it and no problems other than I had to locktight half shaft bolts . Not saying anything wrong with the new ones just saying the old ones are great too.

Thank you for your note. By no means was the compare / contrast intended to slight the RT3s. THEY ARE FINE COBRAS!!!

Jeff,

Did Nostalgic install the drivetrains in the Backdrafts they have in stock or were the drivetrains installed in Boynton Beach?

Also, if one to order a Backdraft from Nostalgic with different brakes, transmission steering rack rear gears or other changes will these changes be performed by Nostalgic employees or will the changes be done in Boynton Beach?

Hi Kevin,

Thanks for reaching out.

The current RT4s in inventory had their motors installed by Speed Fanatics in Boynton Beach.

For new orders, we (Nostalgic Motoring) would spec the motor/trans to your needs and perform the installation and extensive final prep/testing at our shop in Auburn Hills Michigan.

In terms of options...if what you need is a factory option then we would order directly from the factory to be included when assembled. If you need custom options we would handle directly in our shop.

Please give me a call and/or drop me a note to jeff@nostalgicmotoring.com so we can pick up this conversation directly.

Thank you and have a good week ahead!
