Hey,
did anyone built or modified a radiator panel like this for the Backdraft?:

Check out the Winter 2020 issue of RECARNATION magazine, on page 34 is the article Cobra Cowling. This should answer a lot of your questions.

Not sure what year yours is but my 2013 is fine in the front. It is the back flat pan with round hole in rear. The pan should taper and be a little deeper in my opinion . The taper would help the air to move and create less turbulence. The very least ,it should have some pressure relief vents installed, in the rear.
