Starter issue
Every few starts when I press the starter button I hear the starter turn but not the engine. Third attempt it works fine. Sounds like the Bendix spring? It's a Roush 427SRXE. If starter needs replacement what is recommended?

Check the engine ground cable :cool:is secure. I always add a 2nd ground cable to the engine block near the bellhousing. Perry |
If you end up replacing it, I would recommend a standard replacement from Autozone (or wherever) for a mid 90's Mustang with a 302/5.0. It's a direct bolt in, high torque motor, and a lifetime warranty.
