#2068, Axio Blue Rt4 big/tall - delivered!
BACKDRAFT bros, I purchased my new Rt4 from Naples on June 22nd and had it delivered in Houston that Friday. Have put almost 1,000 miles on it already. One oil change so far.

Houston Cobra Club
There is an 11:00 AM lunch scheduled at Bexar BBQ in Tomball on Highway 249 Business on July 11th.
Hopefully there will be social distancing and masks.
Bring your Cobra out. Be a nice drive taking 359 over to US 290 and finding your way over to Tomball.

I haven't measured the oil pan clearance but have seen it on the lift at my buddy's garage. It's def the lowest point. I knocked out the oil pan on my 2016 Challenger SSP and had to replace it. We looked at what it would take to replace the oil pan if I hit a rock again. It's possible but wouldn't be easy.
I'm not aware of the need for dual ignition coils but I'm headed to Magnolia, TX tomorrow for my 1k mile maintenance with James Yale at Radical Roadsters and will inquire. James is the cobra guy for most of us Houston folk. Disappointed I wasn't able to see the Houston Cobra club guys at Bexar this weekend but I had baseball with my son. Look forward to meeting everyone next month.

FYI, no dual ignition/s. Had my 500 and 1,000 mile maint done with James at Radical Roadsters. In addition, he installed charging ports under the dash. Extremely thankful to have a guy like James in the Houston area. He made several adjustments after the initial break in that have the car driving great. One simple one is dropping the tire pressure to 28lbs from the tire recommended 35 psi because of the weight of the car. If you're in the Houston area James is highly recommended.

That's how I do my cars.
Two coils and two alternators are just a reflection.

I have read on some threads on this forum that even 28 may be too high. Some have recommended tire pressures on the order of mid to lower 20s. My BDR owner's manual recommends 27 front, 28 rear. |
