They’re nice cars for sure but I’d like to compare my Backdraft #1937 to a Superformance as I’m not to pleased with the, I guess you could say, quality control or lack there of! I’m dealing with issues I should not have to with a brand new build. I sold my 2016 Z06 for this and at times it’s been a nightmare. To anyone ordering one of these, a word of advice...do not get the stock gauges. You will have not only issues seeing them in the sun light but they are in Celsius. I’ll probably be making a YouTube video for people that are considering these cars on what to keep a eye out for as per my experience. Lots of things they shouldn’t skimp on with a car of this caliber just to make a few bucks!

Did you just wake up at the wheel a notice this? FWIW the SPF oil and water temp is in celcius.

Do you have a Backdraft or an SPF? What are the negative issues you have experienced with your car?

Not trying to be a wise guy but I have heard bad things about aluminum blocks. You may want to look in to it a little closer and get a dart or man o war cast block. Either way what ever you decide you car sounds like it is doing to be bada$$. Good luck.

I would agree with this. Quality control in some areas is lacking. Particularly in body panel fit.

I'm not a fan of the stock gauges. They are metric, and I'm OK with that. I had to do a little math in the beginning, but no big deal. They can be hard to read sometimes. The steering wheel and turn signal stalk obstruct the tach and oil temp gauges. And the fuel gauge system is total crap.

When I get time and money, I'll change them over to Autometers. I might consider a whole new dash with a better lay out.

Sounds like you should've stuck with the corvette. And way to step on your own dick by going and making a youtube video about all the negatives of a car that you're clearly going to sell at some time in the near future.

Swapped the stock dash and gauges out as soon as I got the car. Went with Autometer Carbon Fiber gauges along with a carbon fiber dash. Gauges have all Led backlighting. Replaced the incandescent warning lights with Led's. Positioned all the gauges where I can see them better. Much better.
