Winter Time Is Project Time. Interior and Steering

It's winter time here in NJ. The car is up on the QuickJacks and the improvement projects begin. Two projects are on the slate for this winter. The first will be to convert the steering to a BMW Z3 power steering. Complete. Soup To Nuts. The second will be the redo the interior using the attached picture as a guide. I bought six panels of Italian leather in black with dark blue accent stitching. They came from England. Very nice but pricey. It has the appropriate foam and cloth backing. I've already test fit one panel. I like how it looks. I might leave that pocket thing off because it's kind of worthless anyway. I like the look..... cleaner but I haven't decided. My wife will do the sewing on the seats as that is what she does for a living. Fred |
