Ok thanks and believe it or not this is more frustrating for me than it is for you. It's the rears I need and they are denso not Ford.Ford dealers here want vehicle model / year.Im not aware of frpp modular crate engines built in Australia. FRPP America's contact format does not accept Australia in their login site to register as a contact, if I lived in Austria I could. I will try contacting bdr as I believe once upon a time they offered a package with this engine and gearbox setup. That is why before I became an erstwhile enthusiast I thought I would ask for help here.

Not that anybody checks, or do they? An Oxygen sensor produces power depending on oxygen content in the airstream. We tested them with a gas torch. |
If any 02 sensor will do the job why will nobody in Australia commit to supply me such? I would stick to all ford if some ford legend would identify the part #'s, I've been to many ford performance workshops with no solid advice. When and if I attain registration I'll throw them to the sh%^hou^& if I can get away with it running ok

The ECM part number usually identifies the vehicle and you get sensors for whatever it is. Do you have a number on it?
Some 97-08 Ford V8s do use different sensors up and downstream. Ups do ratio and downs monitor cat performance. If you have 4 sensors you probably do need them hooked up. |
Thanks I'll look into that way of searching, I really do appreciate the help from everyone here , obviously you guys are extremely knowledgeable with this stuff. I'll admit I really don't understand computers in cars and fuel injection cars. I've been trying to get my car right and registered for some time now and so stressed that I'm close to feeling buyers regret! Trying to not be a dick .Limited success there as well , thanks for persevering with me.

I have researched the ecm model # and a generic set of sensors comes up , nothing for the 350 hp 3v hotrod motor, backdraft couldn't shed any light, ill just go with the 4 pack motorcraft package I guess, it's probably fine and making it a mole out of a mountain, thanks for everyone's input.

I have given up on the sensors and running without them, these engines are running sweet, I have also achieved a clean emissions test and very close to registration. I will be looking at aftermarket ecu somewhere down the track, thanks for your advice and help.
