Aluminum tank
I have a 10 year old RT 3. I got rid of the plastic tank a few years back and went with the aluminum one. Replaced all connections with new hose. I have never had an issue with leaks or venting. As per the advice of other threads on here, I never top it off. When the pump clicks off, that's it, I stop filing. Also, I couldn't give the plastic tank away. It went in the trash.

On the street EFI systems are sealed with pressure in the tank Carbs have vacuum in tank as a result of pump sucking gas and air is sucked in thru a vent It’s not vented to let air out Vented gas caps are one way, in It’s two different worlds FredG That’s a beautiful car and the info in your gallery is priceless Thanks |
I'll get busy and put an order in for th new tank , pump and sender this week. Thanks for everyone's help here, I feel confident investing some dollars in this area after all your advice, ill update when it's done , or doing.
