Windshield
Hey, I'd like to give my windshield a little bit more rake. A more laid back look. Anyone done that? What needs to be done?

You could even drill all holes a bit bigger to allow more play. Bear in mind that your soft top won't fit anymore after you did this.
A former racing driver (Shelby team) claimed 500 to 800 rpm more down the long straights with a 289. But that rake was drastic. Angle had probably discussed here a few times. |
Windshield
I took my windshield out when I replaced the dash. The windshield is straight across and comes out easily. You could, potentially, modify the ear or make a small bracket to do what you are proposing. There is not a lot of room under there. Just be warned that the windshield will easily break if put under torque or tension when re-installed. You could, potentially, run into a sealing problem on the bottom. Good Luck.
