wheel hop

proud owner of #2613 purchased new and received 9-1-23
have about 750 miles on it and was curious if anyone else has a wheel hop, tire shake issue when launching hard

Oh, yeah. The wheel hop is terrible! I installed a pair of adjustable Koni rear shocks, and that helped a lot. You can eliminate it altogether, but then the rear is so stiff that you'll develop internal bleeding.

I dumped the clutch after I first got my ERA 289 FIA and the wheel hop was so nasty, I've not done it in the remaining 84,000 miles. My car doesn't have enough pow to be "FAST" so so why bother?
