RT3 Steering column

Anyone swap out an RT3 steering column with anything other than what the car came with. Does anyone know what steering column was used in the RT3.

Thanks in advance!!!

I’m doing a full upgrade to power steering and since I’m there kinda thing. After doing tons of reading here I’m still have a hard time understanding how the steering column bearings go in. I know the BMW part was given, I’m a visual guy and would like to see it first.

This will definitely improve the steering. The original manual rack must also go. It's garbage.

The steering column used in the Backdraft RT3 is typically a BMW-based component, often derived from the BMW 3 Series (E36/E46).
