Clutch Fork for BDR with OE bellhousing

This may have been answered somewhere before, but haven't found the thread.
Which clutch fork will work with a SBF using an OE aluminum '84-93 T5 bellhousing and the BDR hydraulic slave cylinder?

Use the OEM clutch fork from Ford. The slave is mounted to the outside of the bell houseing by drilling holes into it for mounting. This method allows the slave and pushrod to activate the clutch and use all the OEM parts.

I'm a little confused here. The OEM clutch fork (for 84+ Mustangs) uses a clutch cable and pulls the end of the fork forward (towards the front of the car). This pulls the T/O bearing forward sine the fulcrum is a ball at the other end of the clutch fork.
However, I thought the clutch slave cylinder in the BDR pushes the end of the clutch fork. If the slave cylinder is mounted on the BH flange (similar to the picture below, however this is an FE fork which has the fulcrum in between the T/O bearing and the outer end of the fork), wouldn't it move the fork back (toward the rear of the car)? If so, how does this work with an OE Mustang fork?

What do I have confused here?

Scott: The OEM cable set-up pulls the fork forward from the front. However, the clutch slave pushes the fork forward from the rear. In both cases, the fork operation is the same. We just activate it differently.

Our slave has a bracket that mounts onto the rear of bell housing and the rod pushes the fork forward. Your confusion comes from the fact that it doesn't bolt to the flange, which is the front side of the fork. It bolt to the rear of the housing.

Hope this helps. If I didn't answer what your asking, just give me a call.

I've got picks. I'll try to post tonight.

Ahh....now I understand. Thanks. I don't think I've ever seen a slave cylinder attached to the back of the BH.
Looking forward to a picture.
