Check your ground lately?
Hey guys,
Something to check out on your car. Went to start the car today and I got nothing. Finally traced it back to the ground connection. It seems that when it was attached to the frame and they tightened it up, the cable spun around so as to fall in between the left rear upper control arm and frame and every bump I would go over would pinch it a little more until it loosened up a bit. It was an easy fix, had a little bit of slack and just cut off the pinched piece and sottered on a new end. Needed two people to tighten back up, one to turn the wrenches and one to hold the cable still, as it wanted to turn again. Just pull off your left rear tire and you'll be able to see the connection. Hey sh^t happens!! All problems should be this easy. Who knows maybe the tech was distracted for a minute and didn't realize it. Trueoo7 |
