Fuel Pressure Issue
I having a fuel pressure issue. When the car starts the pressure comes right up and holds for a while. Then as the car warms up the pressure starts to rise, and the car starts getting blubbery. I turn off the fuel pump, the engine immediately runs better, and then turn it back on and the pressure goes back down, but starts to work it's way up again. I have a BIG fuel pump feeding a log with Two Hi-perfomance Regulators, One for the carb and the other for the NOS fogger system. The NOS regulator holds steady. Is this as easy as a bad Regulator? That's my guess any other thoughts.

Try turning off the NOS regulator while driving regular.
If the engine runs fine, you have a leaky valve. It was a common problem back in it's day. I am interested in your choice of color. IS that PPG Titanium? |
