7 Days .....
and no posts here ....
No regaling of driving adventures and excitment :( No stories of vettes meet and vanquished :p Nothing bent, broken or cracked :) Everyone must be out and about having a blast trying to drive the wheels of their cars. Oh but to have one now  ...... the weather is about the best now till after summer  |
Doug- I hear you. Same climate, sorta.
The weather is primo for top-down drivin' and I got Ragtop Fever deluxe. Asked my College Girl if I could borrow her ragtop Mustang for a day or two, and she said, "I'll have to give that some thought. NO!" Spoiled rotten little perv. Has handcuffs snapped on her rear-view mirror, don't quite have a handle on that. What's wrong with beads or flowers? BDR #139 is due into Port of Miami May 10, maybe clear Customs May 15. Boudy's crew is SUPPOSED to be doing my engine build in Dallas even as we write. I don't do "hurry up and wait" worth a flip. UT |
Hey UT ......
swap the paper sack for a plastic bag, drool softens the paper and lets you breathe through it. ;) ohh yeah .. hurry up and wait :3DSMILE: Hell - at least you are waiting for yours to be delivered, I'm still trying to get everything in order to be able to order one :( regards Doug |
Hey, Doug-
Do what I did. Sell one of your kidneys. (NO WAY!) Did you read the "financing a BDR" thread, last post April 14? The "Big Boys" blew me off because my income was too low. My local bankers basically blew me off because they didn't have a clew what they were lending money for. I own two pairs of jeans, three pairs of shoes, and almost all my T-shirts say "donate blood" on them. No kids, nieces and nephews grown and married, Momma's retirement is in primo shape, we are living in her dream house, mostly paid for. It's my time. The one big purchase of my life. Now watch me stroke and croak when Boudy delivers it and fires up the engine. UT |

Doug-
You figure out what the "handcuffs on the rear-view" thing is, and we'll talk. Hey, I'll be dead- I don't care who gets the car. I DO NOT want it sold at auction. This needs to move to the Lounge. UT BTW- how and when did I become a "senior member" of ClubCobra? Did the moderator find out I lied about my age? (Same as I did to get into the AARP, love them discounts) UT |
Every time a FFR owner sees a mustang they think 'donor'. The car doesn't look tough, and I've seen a mustang taken down by a pickup truck at the drags. To give the car something of the tough car aura they used to have in the past the owners now have to resort to such things as hanging handcuffs from the mirror ......
I won't see it at auction either. ;) |
