Help - Slave Cylinder info
I need a little help with info about the slave cylinder. My threaded rod between the slave cylinder and cluth fork got a little out of adjustment and allowed the piston in the slave cylinder to pop out while shifting from 1st to 2nd. Thank goodness I was only 3 blocks from home. Here is my question; Does anyone have a part number for the slave cylinder or know if a new piston seal is readily available from NAPA or a car dealer? Reg is not available to ask due to the hurricane and I need an answer fast. I am scheduled to have the car dyno'd this Saturday, so I need a repair quickly. Any info on seals or entire slave cylinder would be appreciated.
Thanks.

For those of you that have the newer cars (mine is #101), the slave cylinder is that of a 1988 Mazda B2200. The dealer couldn't help me with the slave or the seals, but the local auto parts store had the exact slave for $15. Why fix it if you can replace it for that amount. The dealer wanted $60 and didn't even have it. It pays to check around. Thanks to Frank Dodd for the info, and for answering the phone in Florida while recovering from the hurricane.:)

Anthem Motors in Phoenix sells a Wildwood slave cylinder with bracket, line and fittings that is much better than factory. Look them up at www. anthemmotors.com. Tell Jon I said Hi.

Anthems Wilwood package is really neat and works well. If you have the short clutch arm and choose the outer hole on their mount, it is a perfect setup(a pull not a push). Their bracket set is machined aluminum and bolts through the motor mount. Caution, make sure you get all the necessary fittings. I was missing the adapter fitting for the hose to slave connection and could not find locally (wrong type flare). I had a custom hose made.
P.S. the slave is available from Summit.
