BMW wiper motor wiring
I am attempting to connect a BMW 2-speed wiper motor to a Lucas three position toggle switch (35927). Both have 5 available electrical pins. I assume that this hookup should allow the motor to park the blades when in the off position like the origional Lucas motor (LW14). I think this is a standard setup used for Backdrafts.
Can anyone help me with the wiring schematic for this combination? I know the numbers for the pins on the Lucas switch and wire colors in the motor harness plug. I need to know how to correctly connect them. thanks |
Wiring help
See if this wiring schematic may help. The wire color connections to the rear of the wiper motor from left to right should be:
- Black - Ground - Green - White - Purple - Pink |
