New rear-end screws?
My mechanicien cannot find original BMW 3.47 differential gears for less than $650.
With my cam, the 3.10 rear-end screws are... 'way too short. Try 70 MPH at 2100 RPM in fifth. The same as my '98 Expedition. He is a drag racer and recommended that I call an outfit called Richmond to have the gears custom manufactured for less than $300. I am not stupid, but I am ignorant. Ignorance is simply lack of data. Club Cobra is a most excellent source of data. Has anybody dealt with Richmond? UT |
Try Ebay UT....see if you can find a set of gears or a whole center section.....surely you can beat $650.

Could probably get you a posi center section for less with some better gearing. Let me check our stock this week.
