rear end bottoming out
Just got the car a few weeks ago and I love it. Performance is outragous. But I have noticed a noise coming from the rear under hard acceleration. The noise seems to be a single click or a double clicking sound. I am running on 315/35/17 inch nitto drags on the rear and the car hooks up great and I also have about 1.5-2 inch clearence between the tire and the fender. I have not tried to adjust the ride height in the rear yet because I wanted some of your opinions on the noise. I am hoping that it is the tire rubbing and not something more serious, and I do see some signs of of tire rub. Any input greatly appreciated.

Where do you see the rub? On the inside?

just on the inside of the flair lip of the fender, and the noise is only right when the car squats on initial take off.

How is your e-brake? Do a search here. There was some talk of e-break an the same type of sound.

that's interesting because my e-brake only works slightly and definetly only on flat surfaces. What's the coralation?

Check your lower shock bolt. My car made the exact same sound and only from one side. When I got underneath the car the shock was just dangling there. It was the left rear one.
