Differential Oil Type--Redline 75W-90 okay?
I have a standard BDR with standard BMW rear differential. I want to drain and change the diff oil and was wondering if Redline Synthetic 75W-90 is a good choice.

they come with royal purple but red line would work as cashburn stated

I had real trouble using Redline in my Salisbury rear. It made a clattering (any synthetic) I am told will do this if it doesn't have an additive in it.
