New Home for Vintage Motorsports

Jay and Brian,

Congratulatations on a successful move! Hope that it went smoothly. :)

Dave,
Totally missed this post I think. Thanks for the support. It went smoothly, just about done unpacking all those unknown boxes. But the hard work is already paying off. A lot more local customers now.

I will wait on the final photos, still some walls to build out and equipment to finish installing. We are already throwing around ideas to get more space next door for another business plan... we will see.

Oh yeah, also waiting on the upfitting of the lighting system. We are going to be one of the first in the area to have our lighting supplemented by a solar panel on the roof as well as other interesting advances.

Who builds the engines for you guys? Do you use Cobra Automotive in Wallingford?

Jay

Nope, I know who builds their engines though. We actually use a number of builders depending on what the customer is after (power, polish, FE, seasoned block, etc.)

jay bentley 10-03-2006 11:16 AM

I thought Cobra Automotive builds their own engines?

Cashburn 10-03-2006 11:37 AM

I could be wrong but I have heard through one of their suppliers which shop they use for their engines. Also know where Ford Racing crate motors are built (and it sure is not in Michigan).
