hey, a reminder.........were you going to send some pics to me on the air cleaner thing.....thanks......... fred z :MECOOL: |
Fred,
I will get you some tonight. I thought I had some of the pictures on my computer at the shop. If not I will take some in the morning. I need a shop camera...... Bill |
Thanks Bill......really appreciate it.....did you catch the reply from Joeseph and how he solved the problem? if not, i can send some pics to you, via your seperate email........he cut the bottom oval to fit inside the distributor.....and left the top the normal size........now, while it does sound and look a bit different......keeps it as is and only from dertain angles can you tell........just another idea.and he was helpful.
One last question.....can I pruchase a Roush type cleaner somewhere, as that size and look is workable to me....better than the FMS small oval which is pretty plain. Just asking............... thanks for your help, really makes it nice to have you guys around.....probably why your business does well.........you don't mind taking time to help others, even though not buying your car........at least not yet! fred z |
Bill,
I remember once when I was a kid, my Mom put a Golden Retriever puppy in a bathroom while she did some housework. We didn't have a crate like the one in your pic yet. She figured that even if he made a "mess", it would be easy to clean up what with a vinyl floor in there. To make a long story short, he didn't leave a "mess", but he did just about totally strip the top layer of vinyl off most of the floor though. Apparently, he thought he could tunnel out like in the movie "The Great escape". She must have looked like thishttp://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f8...es/jawdrop.gif when she opened the door to let him out. My Mom was NOT pleased. We had that dog for another 14 years. One of the best dogs we ever had, other than the infamous "Bathroom Incident". Looking back, we were very lucky that he didn't try to eat any of the flooring he dug up. Give your little guy another chance. I'm sure that he will pay you back many times by just being so glad to see you when you get home from a tough day at work. Cheers! Dave |
Roushac,
I wouldn't sell him, he is a lot of fun. The wife on the other hand she will be a little upset especially the couch. She already had him fixed, so I don't know what else she'll do to him. I'm just staying out of it!!!! Bill |

Bill,
As long as she doesn't want to get you "fixed" you should be OK, eventually. Reminds me of a high school friend who locked the family's two adult Dobermans in the garage. Unfortunately the windows to their new Saab were down. Apparently the horse hair mats under the leather seats were very delicious, as were all the other pieces. The entire interior was shot, the Vet bill was over $1000.00, and I think my friend is still grounded almost 35 years later! Aren't puppies cute! SkipB |
Ah yes, I know that scene very well indeed. My 'puppy', now grown, pretty much ate anything and everything laying around the house for quite awhile. The worst? My $2500 feakin' hearing ad, (right side only, left side OK) now THAT pissed me off. Fortunate she didn't swallow it. But I love her so, good dog that she is, wouldn't trade her for the world. "Piko", her Hawaiian name.

Well everyone, the dog survived the night... Surprisingly, the wife didn't shoot, hit, throw anything at him... I don't know if that is a good thing she may turn it on me.....My wife isn't what you call a saint but she almost never swears, when it comes to this dog, she will throw out a couple good f bombs that is when I know she is really mad.

Bill,
A little advice: after an incident with the dog like this, NEVER, EVER tell her "Hey, it's your dog not mine" as a joke. Unless you want to have this http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f8...ies/squish.gif happen to you. Don't ask how I know. Cheers! Dave |
