BDR Radiator leak, INFO needed

I have a small leak in my radiator and I have a track event at Willow Springs is in 2weeks.

Has anyone changed out the radiator and if so what part number or car is the radiator from. Second if you have changed one out what am I in for???? Any advice. It looks like to me it should drop straight down after undoing all the attached mounting brackets. Yes? NO. Let me know.
Thanks

I have recently replaced a radiator in BDR # 101. There are four bolts that fasten the radiator to the fiiberglass mounting. Just drain the radiator (drain plug on drivers side, engine side at bottom of radiator), disconnect the hoses, disconnect the dual fans (four bolts) and drop thru bottom, remove four radiator bolts and drop radiator down thru bottom. Actually, the fan assembly and radiator can be removed separately up through the top of the vehicle (but the tolerances are close and you might scratch your lovely paint!).

Reg has the aluminum radiator replacement in stock and there is only one replacment for your Backdraft. I am sure you could find some other replacement, but Reg has the like-kind replacement at a cost of $223.00. Have it FedExed by air--if by truck, it may take weeks!:JEKYLHYDE

Phil, Thanks for the info. I found out the radiator is from a 95 M3 BMW Easy to source here in town. Thanks for sharing your experience. Seems like a straight forward change out. I hoped for that news as I don't have much time to work on the car.
