Cashburn Question

Jay, Did the motor go in today? Im sitting here and Im dying to know.

Cashburn 12-05-2006 06:03 PM

Yup. I only have some mid-afternoon shots. I spent the rest of the day getting antibiotics for a nasty sinus mess. So photos maybe lacking for a little while. But there are more on our site as well as this:

Hey Jay, Hope your feeling better, just wanted to know hows the car comming. Rick and I want to come up on saturday for some laps around you building. How's it looking?

Jay,

I have to say, this kind of customer service is awesome. I know, I own an SPF, and I do love it, but if I build a new one (which I will probably do) I will buy it from you just based on the relationship I have seen you build with customers on this site. Your level of service is something you and your customers should be more than proud of.

Jay, love the looks of that engine bay. Are those aluminum panels powder coated?

James,
Thank you very much. Though I'm only half the team. Brian is the real mechanical magician that allows all this to get done.

Those are actually stainless. The standard Backdraft engine compartment is lined like this. It not only dresses it up, but does a really good job of deflecting the heat. Our customers are usually amazed how cool they stay, even under teh hot/humid torture of N.E. summers.

Roz,
I owe you some photos. Going to make a trip up there tomorrow once the meds wear off and I'm street legal again ;)

Hi James,

I'm also working with Jay on my new BDR and this was definitely one of the deciding factors of ordering my car through Jay. Very knowledgeable and friendly and never pushy. I have a BDR dealer 1/4 the distance closer than Jay is...not a chance of getting my business...

Ditto on the good comments about Jay and his shop. When I am not in Iraq, I live in Texas and I also chose Jay to by my dealer. All it took was watching this site for a while, then while visiting Mass, I took a drive down to his shop one Saturday morning to visit in person. Needless to say, I came away very impressed.

I work with high tech, very complex machines everyday and Jay and Brian's attention to detail rivals that which I see in the aviation field. Very nice work indeed!

Gun Doc,
Like the action avatar... nice touch. I will send you the concepts later today or tonight, I think I have more of the photos at home.

Gun Doc 12-11-2006 09:41 PM

Jay,

Received the photo, thanks. Man, this car is going to be awesome!

You like the avatar, huh? Can you believe they pay me to do stuff like that???

Gun Doc
