Emergency Brake Upgrade/Fix?

My emergency brake doesn't hold. Any suggestions? I have BDR #89. Thanks, Bill

Bill,
Is your hand level not working or is it in the brake itself?
The brake hubs are pretty easy to work on after removing the rear wheels. A allen key holds on the brake hubs. After the hub is removed, the adjuster can be spread to put more pressure (holding power) when your parking brake is applied. This should adjust itself, but gets sticky at times.
If you need any brake parts, see your BMW dealer and get parts for a 1995 325 4 door (E36).
Hope this helps as I went 6 months without a parking brake until I took the time to fix.
John
