Leaky speedo cable
After 3 years with my car I have eliminated almost all of the leaks.:JEKYLHYDE One that has me stumped is the speedo cable. This thing has dripped trans fluid since day one. I put some silicone were the ends are crimped to the sheathing and that did not fix it. I get fluid at the speedo and at the trans end as well. A drip forms at the low point in the cable as it comes out of the trans and curves up into the engine compartment.
Any thoughts? |
I'm told the definitive fix is to replace the cable with a reverse rotation one. contact these guys and explain they will tell you what you need to do:
