The older pipes did seem to have a bigger diameter on the body and turnout though. |
Does my car #874 have the older or newer style exhausts?
It sounds nice and has enough power for me. The engine is a 427 Roush SR with 515 HP. |
How can I tell about my exhaust on #874?
Will I have to disassemble something? Thanks, Russell |

Can anybody tell about this one having old or new exhausts? Thanks, Russell |
Russ, They look like mine, 687 with old pipes, but that may not mean anything. An easy way to tell would be to run a scope into the rear of the pipes. If its the old style you'll see the flat disc with 2 small pipes sticking out of it.

Thanks!
