BDR roll bar and different tracks rules

I'm considering setting up my BDR for a few HPDE events with Chin. I know there's no problem with the stock roll bar at Sebring. I'm wondering about Barber and VIR. Barber requires "factory roll over protection" for convertibles. I'd hate to trailer all the way there and not be allowed to drive. I've heard VIR has similar rules in place.

Anyone have any experience with this?

Thanks a pile.:)

Jim, no experience, but , does the BDR roll bar meet the SCCA specifications. a BDR dealer should be able to answer.

The VIR contact web site:

it does not meet SCCA time trial specs. It may be ok for SCCA instruction - not sure.
