Some new cool stuff for my BDR426

Hi Guys

I did some different upgrades. Lug nut covers on the 15". A subtle touch.

And, Because I drive this thing and I'm approaching 6000 miles soon since 10/06. I do some night drivin and found interior lights extremly helpful especially having a black interior. This was a nice functional touch for me that Bryan and Jay came up with At vintage.

Let me know what you think..

Clever; but I can't figure out "what or how" they are attached?? Is it a solid, secure attachment? Two years ago I had a spinner on the front driverside wheel ricochet off the pavement and go flying by my head at 65 miles an hour. Believer me, it gets your attention. It whistled like a 122mm rocket coming in, that I distinctly still remember hearing in Vietnam.

Burnd,

They go on petty good. The knock off spinns off after loosening the set screw first. the current lug nuts get removes and newer flush ones go on. Then the one pice covers go on over the center piece. After the knock off returns wich tightens everything down and the set screw gets tightened back in place.

Tamanaco,

The color is Speedway blue by the way

Lug nut covers, assuming you have the Team 3 wheels are $125.00 go to
http://www.etwheels.com/ac/ at the very bottom of the page.
You will have to change your lug nuts. The chrome caped nuts are to long.
You need plane old lug nuts.

I have Compomotive halibrands so i don't know if they would work. I already have ugly lug nuts because it's reguired for racing. Tech has to be able to see the bolt all the way throught the nut.

Think they would work on Compomotives? My spinner comes off with 3 set screws which catch a recess on the inside. I would assume that the only thing that would matter was the diameter of the lug hole. They're a Ford spacing with 5 on 4 1/2" which is standard.

Burnd

Call team three to see if the spacing of the covers wil work with your rims

You are bringing tears to UT's eyes.

Not because of your magnificent dark-blue BDR with white stripes, but because you report that you drive it at NIGHT.

My only available "run" involves a US highway full of semis. My little blue car with its little dinky taillights is almost invisible at night, even with the white stripes.

UT WILL NOT drive Gunrack after dark!

I'll walk first.

Many, many scary things in the last 3 years.

I think God rides my right seat, sometimes.

In CT I95 is bad with semis, debris etc. I usualy drive the RT 15 (no commercial vehicls allowed) makes for a ice ride

You can also change the bulbs the brighter leds for the tail lights and use the xenon headlamps. I have not done this yet but may in the future

Burnd,

Hey what tire are you using on your car.

Took mine to the track and with the BFs I think I took about 3 years of tread off the tires with one day at the track. I'm gona need some tires next season. I won't be racing the car again, it was a 1 time opportunity i think.

any tire suggestions will be a great help
