Hot Fenders
Ross and I went out and about tonight and ended up in Dallas, well on the way home we had a spirited/aggresive drive that was about 30 miles or so (something about an empty tollway just begin to be played with) and then a couple runnings with a Bike but regardless operating temp was normal the entire time but finally noticed the Fenders right above the side vents were Hot. Hot enough were they were uncomfortable, any one else experience this? Is the solution get your headers coated, mine are factory but also mine is an early car. So any tips suggestions on this at all?

Yes the ceramic coating does help the situation. Tends to keep the heat moving and out the pipes rather than soaking in.

Ha! Aren't you glad the side vents were there? On a BDR they are functional, not just for looks.
A beautiful evening, wish I could have joined you. I am 90 miles north of you but WILL NOT drive Gunrack after dark!
Momma and I took the 'Stang for a spin instead.
