Third Stop light on roll bar
Curious how it would look with a bright LED light on roll bar?
It's so hard in sunlight for others to see those small lights. Have come close a couple times with people not seeing the lights. joeg |
you're not suppose to stop...you're suppose to drive fast!! Besides they should hear you downshift :)

Go with LED's tail light/brake lights. My new one will have them front and rear. Definately helps with the visibility. One of the guys in our club posted this. http://www.clubcobra.com/forums/show...ight=led+bulbs
Good luck. |
I installed those LED clusters, they are FANTASTIC, mega bright. Highly recommendable

Installed the Led a while back and they make a big difference. Still get idiots who get to close or who don't look down.

The LED's look good, I wonder if my brake lights even work... I know my turn signals are a toss-up. The OHP told me that, minutes before I reached 70 MPH several seconds before he did.

Smokingcobra2,
To answer your question, bluntly. It would look stupid. SkipB |
I'm using the Billet Specialties 3rd brake light license plate. It's a little higher than the brake lights, but Cobra's are low to the ground and drivers are looking at your car and not your brake lights.
http://www.billetspecialties.com/pro...cid=6&scid=187 If you do the third brake light on the rollbar, make it removable. Wire up a "plug" behind the driver's seat and zip tie a light to the rollbar. Then take if off when you meet with other cobras .... |
