BDR Insurance in Florida
Most threads about insurance are from 2006 or even 2005 in this forum, so ill ask you guys an old question hoping for a good answer. Im in FLorida.....id rather not insure the car at all, but im not sure what the state requires. Suggestions?

Well for sure they require insurance to get a tag.. I pay around $400 a year (based on agreed value) includes uninsured-underinsured (covers damage to your body parts) which is a very good idea here in Florida as many don't have insurance or enough to cover a heavy loss also limited to 3K miles yearly locked garage etc.. A little of topic.. One thing I noticed was the amount of property damage some carry is only$25,000-50,000 someone will be screwed if they hit and total a Porsche or Ferrari which cost $100,000 + I guess that is where the lawyers will come in..
I just got the front of my property wiped out by a kid in a beater and after 1 month still can't find out if he has insurance or name of company as the plate on car was from a different vehicle.. now I need a copy of police report to proceed further not looking good. |
