BDR @ VIR with Ferrari Club!!

Just came home from running my BDR at Virginia International Raceway with the Southeast region Ferrari club! this was the best event that I have been to. They made me feel right at home with them and where very interested in the car. Additionally I had over 6 hrs of track time running in 2 different run groups (Touring and Sport). Below is a link to pictures from the event.... Hope you enjoy... Mac

Hey, that is fantastic! Did you run with the new rear shocks? I sent you out the proper front cartridges the other day (we were out for the weekend in Carlisle).

I have to credit you the difference.

How many of them did you beat?

Twin rollbars FTW, Brudda! You make me proud.

Jay,

Yes I had the new shocks on and they are stiff just what I needed. I don't think I would like them on the street though. Not all was perfect though on the way to the track I had the front of the car tied down to the passenger side bumper jack and a weld broke allowing the front to become free and the car rolled back and busted two tail light! I needed brake lights to run so I called Reg on his cell and he arranged two lenses overnighted to the hotel I was staying at. He saved the day. As for how I did against the Ferraris I only had to point two cars by all weekend, the blue 360 Challenge full race and the F430 Challenge Cup are. They had me down the straight but I would catch up by Oak Tree to the F430. As for the dual roll bars I think it balances the car out but I'm afraid they are coming out in favor of a proper cage....

Don't look now, but isn't your hood scoop on backwards?

Trueoo7,
Just a track mod to get some of the air at speed out of the engine comp....
