LS differential
I just purchased my latest upgrade to BDR #621. M3, 3:46 40% slip, LS differential. Was I dreaming or did someone post, picture by picture the process of changing out the open dif to the M3? Please post any help or hints that will make this easier. Thanks

mtpockets,
Give me a call. I can walk you thru it. I don't have any pictures but it isn't that bad. Bill 859-630-9099 |
Embrace Google:
http://www.bimmerdiy.com/diy/e36diffswap/ and http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum...php?p=12687738 and some other changes as well since you bought an M3 unit. I'm sure Bill will fill you in. |
Bill, I just tracked mine for the past 5 days and it is awesome! Wow, much better acceleration out of the turns than with the open diff. I think you will like it at the track at Run n Gun...
I can come over and lend a hand if you need it... James |
Oh Great!!
That's just what we need, Popeye going faster round a race track. See you in a few months James. Cheers, Richard |
Richard, I see that you may have a new ride for Run-n-Gun???
Are the rumors true? If so, I have got lots of work to do now. You were hard enough to catch last year in your yellow jacket... Bests, James |
Defenite maybe, also probably running with the SB guys too, looking at trying something a little different. As soon as it gels, I'll send you the details.
Gave a great day, Richard |
