Lighting Issue...

need y'all's help troubleshooting here...

Had an issue this summer when it was hot outside (100+ degrees)- would open the garage to find the headlights on, on BDR #89. After I toggled the lights off & on, and flicked the brights off & on, the lights went out. I remedied the situation temporarily by getting in the habit of throwing the battery cutoff switch every time I got out of the car.

Now, I notice that in the evenings when I pull the switch to the first detent, the city lamps come on, and the tail lights come on, but the front parking lights do not. The turn signals still work fine, it's just that the front parking lamps don't come on at all in either of the "lights on" positions.

Bad switch? or what...

check your wiring at the light relay. I'm not in front of the schematic. The wire may have disconnected there. These relays go bad sometimes as well. Sometimes the relays will act up on a low battery.
