Jay,

Yeah, winter is here in San Diego as well. The temperature dropped to about 72 today. Wow is it getting cold. Yesterday it was in the high 80s.

Glad you sold your last "special". Sounds like a great car.

Gotta run. I need to find my long underwear, soon!

i am reluctantly thinking of letting mine go....need room in the garage for something with a roof for summer driving (it rains unexpectedly where i live).....i have this exact car without the tonneau cover(i didnt want the mounting buttons on the fiberglass body). Royal blue with white stripe, black interior.....530 miles. Bought new in March 08.....email me if you are interested since i rarely have time to visit this website anymore. tcalea@yahoo.com

There was a BDR on ebay the other day that was sold for 28k.

2k left over for gas:LOL:

gt500bill,

I bought my first bdr for $28,500, not with a Roush though, I got my second with a fms for $35K and sold it before I even had listed it, guy walking by my house could not live without it. I would think doctodd would at worst fetch high 40's at best low 50's. It all depends on if he can find the right butt for his driver seat. He does have a titled car and more than likely all the bugs out of it ready for immediate delivery.

I paid $1.51 for gas the other day in good ole houston.

doctodd 11-29-2008 12:00 AM

i think 50K is a fair price. Im not desperate to sell. I found pics i posted on another thread. Bugs have been worked out except the emergency brake needs tightening. Didnt really have any other bugs and just had it's factory recommended 500 mile service.

doc,

Do not take a penny less than $50K and you WILL get it, it could be next week it could be 3 months from now. Most people thoughts are on the holidays, and winter, although I sold mine in January, LOL. Have all you documentation, receipts in order and the best money you will ever spend toward your cobra is to list on cobra country, you can list it here but you will get a much further reach on cobra country and more $$$$$$$. I would list at $52,750.

madmaxx 11-29-2008 08:31 AM

There is alot to be said in having all the bugs worked out of it, because as we all know they all have teething problems. Yours is also availabe to touch feel and drive, that is worth $$$$ for someone not to have to worry about how it will look when it is complete, will it run right, is someone going to scratch it etc.

madmaxx 11-29-2008 08:34 AM

I saw your pictures nice but not good enough. go out on a sunny day and take pictures from every angle, engine, interior etc. This way when someone inquires you can shoot some emails or overnight the cd with the pictures. Knowledge, honesty and documentation is key to moving the cars quickly.

doctodd 11-30-2008 07:22 AM

thx for the comments and advice......if i do get serious about selling i will follow your advice.
