Good advice and thanks for the tips.

In this case, I was after a different look, a bit more abstract, something that would try to convey the sense of speed in the case of the red F430. So I used a small aperture and a really slow shutter speed, not only blur the background while panning, but soften up the image a bit. Whether or not I succeeded, that's another story, but it's fun trying something different.

Wow, nice shots, Tim. I need you to take some action shots of ERA2108 now that it's all shiney. Would have loved to go to the ALMS, but this was Cameron's last weekend of chemotherapy and I wanted to be there to get him through it.

The photos look great. Looks like a great time.

Great to hear this was Cameron's last round of chemo ... that's the best news yet :D

We do need to get some good photos of 2108 if for no other reason, next year's BACC calendar !

We were in the area today and saw the patron' trucks leave. -- I had no idea that there was a CSX inside!
