2011 BACC Calendar - Photos?

If we can get enough interesting photos of BACC owners' cars between now and October, I will put together another calendar for next year. Please remember that these photos will be viewed for an entire month and thus must keep our interest during that time (i.e. not just the run-of-the-mill photo of a Cobra in the driveway). Individual car shots are preferred and they should take up at least 1 MB of space. New and different backgrounds make the most exciting photos and you have all summer to find "just the right shot". Please, these are pictures of cars, not people.

We have had some great shots over the years and I would like to carry on that tradition but can not do it without you sending in a great shot.

Please send your photos to BACobraClub@yahoo.com.

Many thanks - Tom

Hey Tom,

Hope all is well! I fear VNMS 65 has been sitting in drydock for a bit, largely due to schedule. Aargh. That said, I might actually try to get her out this year for an 'interesting' photo.

Thank you for all of your continuing hard work on this forum, etc.

Cheers,

al

Thanks for your continuing efforts on the calendar, Tom. I gave copies to some of my favorite people last year and they are most happy. I have a special location in mind for this year. Rich

Would one of the night thine on skyline photos be appropriate ?

Hopefully I'll have something in the next few months.

Reminder

Just to remind everyone that we have some great weather for taking pictures and between Snakes, Cobras to the Coast and the End of Summer Run, plenty of opportunities. We are short on photos, so there is a good chance yours will make it.

I gotta get my camera fired up! I'll try and get you some pics in the next couple of weeks.

Bump!
I just sent mine in (Cobras to the Coast picture).

Not enough pictures

:(
In order to get a calendar out in a timely manner and based on my schedule, I must have your photos by Thanksgiving. As of now, I don't have 12 acceptable shots. If I don't receive more within the next 30± days, I will not be able to produce a 2011 calendar. I will save those shots people have sent in and try to get some more for 2012. If this does not happen, you better save this year's version as it will be my last.

If you can find the time to send me a decent shot, you have a great chance at making it into the calendar.

Rich ... glad to help, pick a spot, send me a pm to set a time, and let's get a photo!

Same for any other BACC folks that would like some help getting a calendar photo, just post on this thread or send me a pm.

Can't guarantee it will 'make the grade', but at least Tom will have more photos to choose from. I am not a professional and no money is involved, would just like to see Tom have enough photos for a calendar :)

Thanks, Tim. Perhaps next weekend. Gents, take up Tim on his generous offer. He does very good work and his rates are really reasonable. :p Rich

From one bay to another, San Francisco Bay, Ca., to Corpus Christi Bay, Tx.

Am I still considered a member of BACC, even though I've moved 1876 miles to Portland, Texas?
I sent a picture, just in case, of this bay, not that bay.
I will be visiting Kalifornia, as I have over 500 family members, and a couple of friends there, but I got to tell you, this move is one of the best things I've ever done.
It's just awsome here, could not wait to get out of Kalifornia after 60 years there!
As one Texas Cobra Club member put it: "Welcome to the Wild West"

Here's a picture, fishing in my back yard. (didn't catch a thing this time)

Where's the Cobra?

Here are a couple of pictures from my first encounter with one heck of a great group of TEXANS!

First one, in Corpus Christi at Brewsters, a country western type bar/restaurant, last Friday.

Next two, in Rockport, at Charlotte Plumber's Seafood restaurant, last Saturday.
