ERA #536 for sale (in Bay Area)

Fellow Bay Area Cobra owners: If any of you know someone who might be looking for a Cobra, please turn them on to this ad (it's also in the "Cobra's For Sale" section). I'm in San Carlos. Thanks a million.

ERA 427 #536. Ford FE 428 engine/5-spd Tremac. Incredible silver paint with black leather interior. This car is basically in perfect condition and is very “original” and very clean. Please see link below for numerous pictures of car, engine, interior, etc.

Black side pipes, Trigo pin-drive wheels (powder-coated black), Smiths instruments, black interior, leather seats and door pockets, heater/defroster, chrome roll bar, black soft-top and side curtains (used only a few times), fully-carpeted trunk, car cover, chrome fire extinguisher, 19 gallon fuel tank, remote oil-cooler (not connected yet). Runs/handles/sounds incredible. NO track time, NO hard driving, NEVER been driven in rain/water, ALWAYS garaged and covered.

Engine/transmission installed and tuned by big-block Ford guru Dan Fodge (Fodge Engineering, Elk Grove, CA). 750 cfm Holley 4-barrel double-pumper, low-rise manifold, MSD ignition (concealed) with 6,000RPM limiter chip, electric fuel pump, 3.54:1 rear drive ratio, estimated by Fodge Engineering at approximately 500 horsepower and 500 lb-ft torque.

Front and rear sway bars, four-wheel independent suspension, front=Spax shocks with adjustable coilovers, rear=dual Spax shocks each side with adjustable coilovers.

Avoid agonizing wait to have one built, DMV nightmares, and un-original looking others. Registered in CA as 1965. Maintained by Performance Fabrication of San Carlos, CA.

I might be interested since I had to trade my last Cobra for a $53,000 roof that was put on my 1500 sq-ft house. What a coincidence your price is the same. I am in your area as I live in Monterey where all the rich folk live, and everything is pricey. Hey I tried your phone number and it's disconnected. Sounds like a scam to me.

long live McVette... formerly McD00

McD00 - $53K for a roof on a 1500 square foot house? I haven't priced a roof in years, but it seems pricey to say the least.

Well, maybe, but then again my Cobra wasn't worth 53k either. You see it was smashed up and fixed again to the tune of $60,000 just to repair a $45,000 car. The car was totalled so the roofer got a car that the body is ready to fly off of it when going over 60mph. You may not have heard but I was sitting in the Walmart parking lot after just getting out of work and some b#&%ch in a huge station wagon backed into me. Even though she as only going 2 mph I paniked and smashed the gas and that's when things really went to sh!t. If she wasn't so darn tall I would have kicked the crap out of here but instead I just shutted the fugg up and moved on and let her insurance suffer.

Man do I need a drink. Thanks for reminding me of all this. Where is that wine again...

"oh McD00, I've done it again."

Doug,

Read his other posts. He sounds like a high school kid on summer vacation with too much time on his hands having some fun with us.
