BACC 2012 Calendar - Need Photos - 1st call
 

If a calendar is to be published this year, I would like to get it out prior to Thanksgiving. As such, I need photos sooner than later. With the good driving weather ahead, please plan some time to take a few good shots of your car somewhere in your travels. Please keep in mind that people will look at these photos for an entire month so they need to be interesting to a large group. They should be taken with good lighting and be of a resolution that everything will look sharp at in 8 x 10" print. No people in the shots unless they are at race speed and do not take away from the subject (the car).

As with the current calendar, if you submit a photo that is used, the second calendar you purchase will be free. I can not produce a calendar without your assistance in providing the shots. We have been lucky to have had so many great pictures to use. I particularly want to thank Herman, Tim and Tom W. for sending in photos of their cars (well sorta, Tim - this year for sure) as well as others. Should you not feel comfortable in taking a picture yourself, these fine photographers can be contacted for assistance. If I don't receive enough shots by mid-October, I will not produce a calendar. :(

Please send pictures to BACobraClub@yahoo.com ASAP - submittal of photos obviously means you grant permission to use your submittal.

Pictures still needed
 

Did you take any pictures over the summer; especially at Snakes or Yosemite? I am woefully short of photos and at this point, there will not be enough for a calendar. :(:(:CRY:

This long weekend would be an ideal time for taking a shot that has that warm feel of summer.

I still only have a handful of photos. It looks like we have a couple more weeks of nice weather, so please get out there and take some shots.

There are lots of new cars in the Bay Area - how about getting yours in the calendar?

Tom W., Herman, Tim and myself are available to help snap a few shots. Please contact one of us if you have an idea or location that you think will work. Please submit what you can by the end of October - if I don't have a dozen decent shots, there will be no extensions and no 2012 BACC calendar. Sorry :(

I tried that one. I was told only if the car had an interesting background behind it. I tried to book the Budweiser bikini team but they said they were too busy.
